Podcasts
Reminiscent of the early years of radio and the ongoing significance of community radio, podcasting has become a relevant platform for building conversations, connections and knowledge. These are exactly what I hope to with my research, and therefore started exploring podcasts as a current and practical platform in 2022 to connect with others.

'What can the women do?' Women and the Cooperative Movement in Nova Scota Podcasts:
This feminist archival and oral history research project examines women's work in the
Antigonish Movement, that combined adult education and cooperatives to foster
economic development in Nova Scotia starting in the 1930s. As organizers, writers,
instructors, hosts, and more, women were significant to improving the wellbeing of
families, communities, and themselves.
Special thanks to Sophie Gallant's work as a research assistant on this project, including
writing and producing the podcasts.
This project was financially supported by the StFX University Council of Research.
